Depop removed its 10% selling fee for US sellers in 2024, which is where most people stop reading. The payment processing did not go anywhere: 3.3% + $0.45 on the item price plus any shipping the buyer paid. On a $100 sale that is $3.75 and barely worth arguing about. On a $12 top it is $0.85, or 7.1%, because the flat 45 cents does not shrink with the price. This calculator applies both parts and then takes off what the item and the label cost you.

A $40 jacket with free shipping
$20.23 net profit
Depop Payments takes 3.3% of $40 plus $0.45, so $1.77 — a real rate of 4.42%, not 3.3%. There is no selling fee for US sellers. Take off the $12 you paid for the jacket and the $6 label you absorbed by offering free shipping, and $20.23 is left.

A $100 sale, the figure everyone asks about

Depop takes $3.75 on a $100 sale: $3.30 from the percentage and $0.45 flat. That is 3.75% all in. Under the old 10% selling fee the same sale cost $13.75, so the change is worth $10 on every hundred dollars you turn over.

Questions sellers ask
How much does Depop take from a $100 sale?
$3.75. That is 3.3% of the $100 plus the flat $0.45 transaction fee, and nothing else — US sellers have paid no selling fee since 2024. If you also charged the buyer for shipping, the 3.3% applies to that as well, so a $100 item with $8 postage costs $4.01.
Does Depop still take 10%?
Not from US sellers. Depop dropped the 10% selling fee in 2024 and now charges only payment processing at 3.3% + $0.45. Sellers outside the US should check their own rate card, as the change did not roll out identically everywhere. Set the selling fee field to 10 above to see what the old structure would have cost.
What fees do I pay on Depop?
One fee for most US sellers: Depop Payments at 3.3% + $0.45 per transaction, charged on the item price plus any shipping the buyer paid. Optional extras are separate — Boosted Listings take a further cut of the sale price, and if you buy postage through Depop the label cost is deducted from your payout as well.
How do I calculate shipping costs on Depop?
Decide first whether the buyer pays or you absorb it, because the fee treats them differently. Shipping the buyer pays is added to the fee base, so a $8 charge costs you about $0.26 in extra processing. Shipping you absorb comes straight off the profit line instead. Put the label price in the shipping cost field above either way.
