The calculators are estimates, not advice
Everything here is a planning tool. Nothing on this site is financial, tax, accounting or legal advice, and no relationship of that kind is created by using it. Decisions about pricing, stock or advertising spend are yours, and you should confirm anything material against your own accounts and, where it matters, a professional.
Accuracy of fee rates
We publish marketplace fee percentages in good faith, record the rate card each came from, and re-check them on a schedule. Even so, marketplaces change rates without notice, apply different rates by category, country, subscription tier and seller status, and run promotions that override the published figure. Your actual fees may differ. Always confirm against your own seller account before pricing. We are not liable for a decision made on a figure that turned out to be out of date.
Availability
The site is provided as it is, with no guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change, move or remove any calculator at any time.
Acceptable use
Use the calculators as much as you like, including for commercial purposes. Do not scrape the site at a volume that degrades it for others, attempt to break it, or republish its content wholesale as your own. Linking to any page is welcome and needs no permission.
Intellectual property
The written explanations, layout and code are ours. The underlying formulas are standard business arithmetic and belong to nobody. Marketplace names are the trademarks of their owners; SharpTally is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to eBay, Etsy, Amazon, Shopify, PayPal, Stripe or any other platform named on the site.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of this site, including lost profit or loss caused by an inaccurate figure. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us, which is nothing.
Changes
These terms may change; the date at the foot of the page shows when they last did. Continuing to use the site means accepting the current version.
